Phytase description and usage
Phytase is a phosphate monoester hydrolase, mainly derived from microorganisms and some plant seeds.
Adding phytase to the diet can improve the utilization of phosphorus in the feed for pigs and other monogastric animals, promote growth, and at the same time reduce the amount of inorganic phosphorus added, reduce the emission of phosphorus in feces, and reduce environmental pollution.
Used in chicken feed, it can improve the utilization rate of phosphorus in plant feed materials, reduce the anti-nutritional effect of phytate phosphorus, reduce feed costs, and alleviate the environmental pollution of phytate phosphorus.
Phytase is a phosphatase that hydrolyzes phytic acid. It can degrade phytate phosphorus (inositol hexaphosphate) in plant feed into inositol and inorganic phosphorus for animal utilization.
