1.2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1′-binaphthyl and its anthracene and anthracene derivatives can be used as highly selective homogeneous catalysts for aryl ketones, β-ketoesters and α- reduction of aminoketone.
2. It can also be used for asymmetric hydrogenation and hydroformylation of olefins, asymmetric Heck reaction and asymmetric isomerization of allyl groups.
3. Ligands for palladium-catalyzed asymmetric tandem Heck reaction
