Preservatives; Antioxidants; Bleach; Prevent Browning agent Antioxidants. Developer
Food preservative and antioxidant: Used as a food additive (E225) to inhibit microbial growth and prevent food oxidation. It is used in wine, beer, dried fruit, and certain processed foods.
Photographic industry: Used as a fixer and bleaching agent in the development of black-and-white and color photographs.
Industrial chemistry: Used as a reducing agent in various chemical synthesis processes. It is also used as a deoxidizer in boiler water treatment to prevent corrosion of boilers and pipes caused by dissolved oxygen.
