p-Cresol Usage
1. This product is the raw material for the manufacture of antioxidant 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol and rubber anti-aging agent.
2. It is an important basic raw material for the production of pharmaceutical TMP and dye licidine sulfonic acid.
3. It is an intermediate of the fungicide methyl chlorfen, the insecticide fluvalerate and fenvalerate, antioxidant additive 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde.
4. It can be made into phenolic resins and plasticizers.
5. Used as a disinfectant in medicine
