Dibutyltin diacetate Property
DBTDA is a colorless to yellow liquid, low-temperature white crystals. DBTDA soluble in the most common ,such as benzene, toluene, ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, ethanol, petroleum ether and other solvents and various industrial plasticizers, DBTDA is insoluble in water.
Promotes rapid gelation and tack-free times.
Dibutyltin diacetate Application
Catalyst for RTV
DBTDA used as a catalyst in the vulcanizing cure of silicones at room temperatures. Especially suitable for acetoxy sealant; Has higher catalysis speed than dibutyltindilaurate. Normally the mixed ratio is DBTDA: DBTDL=1:9 to 2:8; also as catalyst of polyurethane coating.
Product safety, handling and storage
Customers considering the use of this product should review the latest Material Safety Data Sheet and label for product safety information, handling instructions, personal protective equipment if necessary, and any special storage condition required. The “Best use before end” date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
