Application:
Chromic acid is a good preservative that can precipitate proteins and harden tissues, but it is easy to shrink tissues and penetrate slowly. A chemical book is generally mixed with other agents and can become an excellent fixative. Usually combined with acetic acid, the effect is good. Features: easy deliquescence, strong oxidizing agent.
