It can improve zinc salt solubility, has good chlorine oxidation tolerance and good composite synergy.

Water treatment–Scale inhibitors effectively chelate metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and iron in water, preventing the formation of scale such as carbonates and sulfates. Corrosion inhibitors form a stable protective film on metal surfaces, preventing corrosion of equipment and pipelines. They are used in industrial circulating cooling water systems, oilfield injection systems, and boiler water treatment.

Cleaning agents–With excellent chelating and dispersing properties, they are used in the formulation of industrial cleaning agents to remove scale and metal oxides from equipment surfaces.
