Properties:

Typically, the solution is prepared with TESCA buffer (50 mmol TES, 0.36 mmol calcium chloride, pH 7.4) or other adapted buffer at a concentration of 1 – 3 mg/mL, 24 hours at 2 – 8 °C

For internal use.

Collagenase type V solution (10 mg/mL) is quickly frozen and stable at –20°C.

Freeze-thaw cycles will damage the activity of the enzyme solution
